Day 1 — Lima

• Walk to the cliffs — Miraflores, Lima → Lima
• 14:00 — Miraflores — clifftops & Parque del Amor — Lima
• 20:00 — Ceviche + pisco sour — Central — Lima

Day 2 — Lima → Cusco

• 08:00 — Larco Museum — 3,000 years of pre-Columbian art — Lima
• 14:00 — Flight Lima → Cusco
• 16:30 — Hotel in central Cusco
• Drink coca tea — acclimatise to the altitude
• 19:30 — Quinoa soup + alpaca — Plaza de Armas

Day 3 — Cusco & the Sacred Valley

• 09:00 — Qorikancha + Sacsayhuamán — Cusco
• 13:00 — Sacred Valley excursion
• 15:00 — Pisac + Ollantaytambo
• 17:30 — PeruRail train → Aguas Calientes
• 19:30 — Hotel in Aguas Calientes

Day 4 — Machu Picchu

• 05:30 — Bus up to Machu Picchu (at opening)
• 06:30 — Machu Picchu — Sun Gate — Machu Picchu
• 10:00 — Huayna Picchu (optional)
• 14:00 — Lunch at the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge
• 17:00 — Train back to Cusco

Day 5 — To Puno & Titicaca

• 08:00 — Tourist bus Cusco → Puno (6h)
• 15:00 — Hotel on the shore of Lake Titicaca — Puno
• 17:00 — Sunset over Titicaca — Puno
• 20:00 — Grilled Titicaca trout

Day 6 — Uros & Taquile Islands

• 08:00 — Uros floating islands — Lake Titicaca
• Boat to Taquile — Lake Titicaca → Titicaca
• 11:00 — Taquile Island — Quechua weavers — Titicaca
• 14:00 — Lunch with a Taquile family
• 17:00 — Boat back to Puno
• 21:00 — Night bus Puno → Lima (or flight)

Day 7 — Lima & Return Flight

• 10:00 — Stroll around Barranco (artists' district) — Lima
• 13:00 — Last ceviche + anticuchos — Lima
